Elsa Ferreira
  Elisa is a student in the Master of Science in Finance program at CSULB where she also obtained her bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in finance. Her interest in finance began while she was employed as an assistant manager in a big-box retailer and was tasked with constructing and implementing a plan to raise her store’s profit margins. Elisa currently works in the Los Angeles-based regional office of a national, full-service valuation, appraisal and financial consulting firm that specializes in private company valuation and commercial real estate appraisals. In addition to her employment and school activities, Elisa is preparing to take the CFA Level I exam in June 2020 and enjoys attending personal and career development events hosted by various organizations on campus. Elisa aspires to pursue a career in the fixed income markets and is fascinated by the issuance and analysis of both government and corporate credit.

Bernice Lopez
  Student of the MS Finance Cohort 1 at CSULB. She will be receiving her Master of Science in Finance in August 2020. She is very passionate about finance and is interested in pursuing a career in capital markets. In particular, she is interested in exploring fixed-income and alternative investments, such as real-estate. Berenice is currently employed at an appraisal firm located in Long Beach which specializes in commercial real estate. In addition to being a full-time student, she is also preparing for the CFA Level 1 which she will be sitting for in 2020. On her free time, Berenice enjoys participating in networking events as well as career development workshops.
