Exhibitor FAQ’s
What is Tech Day?
CSULB TECH DAY is a fun festival showcasing campus tech services and innovation. At our last event, we welcomed an estimated 6,500 students, faculty, and staff to 42 exhibition booths ranging from new general products and services to robotics and gaming. There is music, food, games, and giveaways. This is an opportunity for you to share with the campus.
When is Tech Day?
Thursday, November 9, 2023, 10-1 pm at Friendship Walk.
What does an exhibitor do?
It’s your time to shine! Show off technology products or services that you provide to the campus. Engage your audience! A great way to increase participation is to have a fun game, demonstration, display, or tech giveaway. The more fun, the better.
How do I register to be an exhibitor?
Registration invites will be emailed the first week of August to prior exhibitors. We suggest a minimum of two people and a maximum of four per booth. If you have never been an exhibitor and would like to be considered, please email techday@csulb.edu. The deadline to register is August 31, 2023.
What is included in an exhibitor booth?
Each exhibitor group will have a 10 x 10 white tent, a 6 foot table and 2 chairs to share with up to four people from your group or organization. There will be basic signage and an electrical drop. Please bring your own surge protector if needed.
Is there food?
All exhibitors will receive a box lunch and water.
Is there electrical power?
Yes! Each booth will have a power plug with two outlets. Please bring your own surge protector if needed.
Does it cost money to be an exhibitor?
The event is hosted by the Division of IT and thanks to our generous sponsors, Tech Day is free for exhibitors. All that is required is registration before the deadline of Aug 31.
Will there be help transporting my equipment?
Each exhibitor is responsible for transporting their own equipment and supplies. If you are an exhibitor coming from an off-campus organization, parking will be provided. Parking and logistic details are provided closer to event date.

Volunteer FAQ's
Can I volunteer to help with the event?
Yes! We need friendly volunteers with things like cart deliveries, posting signage, handing out flyers, assisting at the Fun Zone, cleaning up post-event, etc. A volunteer sign-up will be shared at a later date.
