Donald J. Reish Student Grant for Marine Biology Research:
Undergraduate and Graduate Students
- Open to full-time CSULB students who will be conducting research in marine biology. Funds may be used for supplies, equipment, or for travel related to their research.

SCTC Marine Biology Scholarships:

The SCTC Marine Biology Scholarship Foundation is offer undergraduate and graduate student scholarships again this spring. They typically offer between 1-5 cash scholarships worth $1000-$1750 each.

Applicants must be pursuing the M.S. Degree in Biology, or M.S. Degree in Microbiology, at CSULB, and must be Advanced to Candidacy (or eligible for Advancement).

Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP):
Undergraduate Students

CSU-LSAMP is sponsored both by the National Science Foundation and the California State University, providing a statewide program for the enhancement of math and science skills for minority students majoring in science, technology, mathematics and engineering (STEM).

The goal of LSAMP is to support students as they successfully complete their academic degree program and enhancing their futures in the STEM disciplines.

This program involves a cooperative effort between CSULB and Cerritos College, and includes a three-week summer workshop designed to prepare students for enrollment in calculus during the upcoming academic year and LSAMP Scholar Program designed to support student involvement in activities that enhance graduate school readiness.
