Announcing the Peer Review Team recommendation to extend accreditation for the degree programs in business offered by California State University, Long Beach is concurred with by the Continuous Improvement Review Committee (CIRC) and ratified by the Board of Directors.

8 day trip to Singapore and Vietnam in January 2019 The College of Business launched a new short-term study abroad experience in Fall 2018, which culminated in an 8 day trip to Singapore and Vietnam in January 2019.

Another successful season of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program at the College of Business concluded on April 15th. Since its inception 15 years ago, VITA has consistently served our campus, Long Beach, Orange county, and greater Los Angeles community.

Over 200 students, mentors, & staff attended the 11th Annual SCPD Awards Banquet on May 10, 2019 at The Grand in Long Beach.  Plus over $2,000 raised in SCPD's first Silent Auction. The Awards Banquet presented certificates and medallions to the largest graduating Corporate Mentoring Program (CMP) class to date; including 118 students. 

Sips Cold Brew receives $10,000 for its victory and an additional $40,000 worth of support for their startup — such as office space, and accounting, legal and marketing services.
