Join us on Thursday, September 28 for Founders Day at The Beach as we celebrate 74 years of CSULB! 

Activities:  

  • 11am-12pm: 49er Industry Chat featuring a panel from CSULB’s Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.  
  • 3pm-5pm: Tour of the Anna W. Ngai Alumni Center  
  • 7pm: Women’s Volleyball game at Walter Pyramid.

Senior Class Gift 

The Senior Class Gift is a meaningful way for graduating seniors to make a difference in the areas of campus that impacted them the most during their time at The Beach. Gifts strengthen our programs, help create internship and research opportunities, and even support initiatives such as (but not limited to) the Beach Pantry, mental health resources, unforeseen travel expenses to conferences and more.

Founders Day Panel: Success from the Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Join us on Sept. 28 at 11 a.m. for a panel of students and recent grads who have successfully launched their own startups with the support of the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship! 

Panelists include: Elias Babaalian-Morales ‘21, Jaelyn Gutierrez ‘23, Nathen Deo ‘23, Co-Founders, BookBound, Emanuel Tafese (current student), Founder, Class Chat, Ekene Abana ‘21, Founder, PPLEApp. Moderated by Wade Martin, Director of the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Weekly Farmers Market

Come visit and shop at the Weekly Farmers Market every Tuesday this fall semester! Open to the entire Long Beach State University (LBSU) community, including surrounding neighbors, join ASI from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Friendship Walk for a little mid-day pick-me-up!

Make sure to bring your reusable shopping bag and get ready to purchase refreshing produce and delicious meals provided by our vendors.
