Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in pre-college performance and ultimately in higher education pursuits.
Upward Bound serves high school students from low-income families, high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelors degree, and

For seniors who submitted applications to CSU campuses, EOP applications should be completed as soon as possible. Applications are available online, and you need to request a recommendation letter from a teacher or counselor.
Deadlines are coming up soon. Upward Bound staff are available if you need help completing your applications.
If you are applying to a community college, you should begin to look into which college will best suit your needs. Go online as needed to familiarize yourself with schools before making your decision next spring.
FAFSA forms are due on March 2. All seniors and parents should request PIN numbers this month. Visit the website and follow directions to complete this task. Keep in mind that you will be unable to begin working on your FAFSA form online until January 2. Upward Bound will be conducting financial aid workshops in February.
