CSULB Cultural Celebrations honor graduates' identities and heritages
CSULB celebrates its rich, vibrant diversity through its nine annual Cultural Graduation Celebrations held during Commencement season. This year, 1,393 students participated in the cultural ceremonies, according to Student Affairs.

CSULB will have a series of events to honor the achievements, contributions and legacy of African Americans during the Black History Month.
CSULB Celebrates First-Generation Students
Nov. 8 is National First-Generation College Celebration Day, observed annually to recognize the signing of the Higher Education Act of 1965 by then-President Lyndon B. Johnson. This act created federal financial aid programs and made key investments in colleges and universities.
