California Teachers Summit 2018

Published on June 28, 2018

Join us here at CSULB on Friday, July 27, and join thousands of teachers, education leaders, district partners, students, and others gathering at 30+ locations across the state for Better Together: California Teachers Summit.

This year’s theme, “It’s Personal: Meeting the Needs of Every Student,” reflects the importance of personalizing learning – both for educators and the students they serve.

This year, the keynote speaker is internationally acclaimed expert on creativity, innovation, and author, Sir Ken Robinson, whose TED talk on developing an education system that nurtures creativity holds the illustrious title of “most popular TED talk of all time.” Learn more about Sir Ken Robinson.

The Summit will feature TED-style EdTalks presented by teacher leaders and a choice of discussions in an Edcamp format led by teachers, for teachers.

The Summit is free and open to all California pre-K-12 teachers, teacher candidates, school administrators and other educators, such as instructional assistants, school psychologists and school librarians.

Punctuating the full day at CSULB will be informative EdTalk and Edcamp sessions where local educators will facilitate meaningful discussions and peer-to-peer dialogues with attendees, and a free lunch and reception for networking with colleagues. Guests can expect to leave the day with new resources and tools that can be directly applied to the classroom and their own professional growth. Learn more about CA Teachers Summit

Registration, breakfast, lunch, reception, and CSULB parking is complimentary.
