Jerry Z. Muller is Professor of History at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. His teaching and research are situated on the borders between history, social science, philosophy, and public policy and examine topics such as capitalism, nationalism, and conservatism. His latest book is The Tyranny of Metrics (Princeton UP, 2018).
