Bio-sketch:

Research Vision:

The overarching theme of our research group would be to perform fundamental, and applied inter-disciplinary research activities related to the condition monitoring or health diagnostics of engineering structures. We are interested in health monitoring of structural components made up of both traditional metal alloys, as well as advanced lightweight composites, along with the estimation of their remaining useful life in service commonly referred to as prognostics. Some of the key applications of our research will be health diagnostics and prognostics of structural components that are used in pipelines, bridges, power plants, wind turbines, aerospace, and other critical infrastructures.
