How to Properly Address Mail to University Staff and Faculty

Receiving and Mail Services is responsible for the efficient and accurate sorting and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and packages for the campus community. In unanimity with the University’s upcoming department listing changes, it will no longer be necessary to include the mail stop on mail, packages or business cards. Incoming mail and packages will be delivered in the following manner:

All incoming mail addresses are to include the name of an individual, the department name, and the university address (1250 Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90840.

Example:

Mike Jones
California State University, Long Beach
History Department
1250 Bellflower Blvd
Long Beach, CA 90840
