Deadline to Submit for Sustainability Project Showcase is April 13th!

The 7th Annual Green Generation Mixer brings together student, faculty, staff, and Long Beach community sustainability leaders for a fun evening of mingling, music, and food at the beautiful Earl B. Miller Japanese Garden. At the center of this event is the Sustainability Project Showcase, a presentation of student and faculty research, creative and technical projects that explore a wide variety of sustainability topics and solutions.

The Office of Sustainability is seeking Sustainability Focused Research Projects, Artworks, Posters, Prototypes, Interactive Displays, Videos, and more* to be featured at this upcoming Green Generation Mixer. Students of all majors are welcomed to submit a project of any medium or format!

Project Criteria

  • Clearly communicate the sustainability or environmental issue addressed as well as research findings (if applicable)
  • Be polished, complete projects
  • Be the original work of the submitter(s)
  • Three dimensional displays, performance and/or interactive projects are welcome
  • Maximum poster size: 30 in. wide x 48 in. tall

Recognition & Awards

All submitters will receive a Certificate of Participation. Prizes will be awarded to “Best in Show” projects in multiple categories.
