Peer and Emotional Support
You are not alone! There are a few ways you can connect with the community of pregnant and parenting students at CSULB.
WGEC Presents B.A.L.A.N.C.E. (Bridging Academic Leadership and Nurturing Community Empowerment) Educational Workshops Series to support pregnant and parenting students to becoming a better you, a healthier you, and a happier you during your college experience at the BEACH. Some of our previous events include: A Better You: Connect & Thrive and A Healthier You: Balancing COVID Resitrictions and Academic Success with Your Children. Stay tuned for upcoming events and watch our Bettter You event on Youtube to learn more about campus resources, accommodations, and school-work-life balance.
Beach Parents Support Group
Beach Parents drop-in space is shifting to a therapy space at CAPS on Wednesdays from 1:00-2:00pm. Connect with other pregnant and parenting students to share experiences and explore topics such as: self-care, balance, parenting, healthy relationships, identity, and campus resources.
Group members need to be referred by CAPS clinician. If interested, please reach out to CAPS at 562-985-4001.
