CSULB Sculpture Professor Katie Grinnan in conversation on Ree Morton’s work at the ICA

CSULB Sculpture professor Katie Grinnan participated in a conversation of artist Ree Morton’s work that took place through the Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. Entitled “An Artist Conversation: Ree Morton” Moderated by Director of the Institute, Anne Ellegood, the talk involved Grinnan, as well as artists Jade Gordon and Evan Holloway. The work of Ree Morton continues to inspire many artists since her untimely death in 1977 at the age of 41, and in this conversation, these artists focus on her work and legacy. This talk was in conjunction with the exhibition Ree Morton: The Plant That Heals May Also Poison that took place at the ICA.
