The Department of Physics and Astronomy at California State University, Long Beach invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in areas of Theoretical Quantum Manybody Physics, Atomic Molecular and Optical Physics (AMO), Quantum Optics, or Quantum Information. We seek candidates who will contribute to our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and access to scientific careers. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Physics or closely related field and at least one year of postdoctoral experience at the time of application, the ability to establish an active research program, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and a commitment to working with diverse students.
