Student Parking

There are many ways to get to campus without a vehicle or by sharing the ride (bikebuswalkcarpool and vanpool). Those who use sustainable transportation modes enjoy reduced commute expenses and help fight climate change one ride at a time! The campus thanks these commuters through the Rideshare Rewards and Guaranteed Ride Home programs.

Students who drive to campus may park in any General (G) parking lot including all three parking structures on campus unless the space is otherwise restricted with posted signage. Students may also park in Employee (E) parking lots after 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends. Please visit the campus map to view all university parking locations. Paid parking is required at all times when parking on campus.

Student virtual permits are available for purchase online via e-check (no fee) or credit card (2.75% convenience fee). Fall Virtual permits are valid one week prior to the start of instruction and Spring permits are valid one day prior to the start of instruction. Academic year virtual permits are valid one week prior to the start of Fall instruction to the last day of Summer Intercession. Up to 2 vehicles can be registered per virtual permit.

Questions regarding virtual permits can be directed to the Parking Office 562.985.4146.
