Program Changes - Spring Semester 2022

UPDATE: Due to recent changes, some spring semester programs will begin on 2/7/2022 instead of 1/20/2022. Semester parking permits will not go on sale as scheduled on 1/10/2022. Monthly, daily and short-term parking permits are still available as permit options in the interim. The Overflow Lot will be temporarily postponed and Campus Shuttle service will begin 2 weeks later on 2/7/2022.

For the most current information regarding class scheduling, please visit COVID-19 Information.

Sustainability Note: Given that transportation-related emissions contribute so significantly to the climate crisis we are facing, we encourage everyone to consider the most sustainable commute mode feasible when traveling to campus. Taking sustainable transportation even just one day per week can have a significant impact on our collective carbon output.

Shuttles

Campus shuttles will return to full schedule this spring with extended hours of 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday-Thursday.

The West Loop and East Loop shuttle routes will return to campus providing shorter ride times. The All Campus Tripper and Beachside routes will also be running at extended hours. To view the full shuttle schedule and get real-time shuttle tracking info, please download the Ride Systems App for free for your Android or Apple device, or visit our Shuttles webpage.

Effective Jan. 10, 2022, Lot E11 has returned to Employee (E) Lot use and Lot G5 has returned to General Lot use. Student permits can now park in Lot G5 and employee permits can now park in Lot E11. Please visit our Permits webpage for a complete list of all permit privileges.

Long Beach Transit passes

Long Beach Transit (LBT) has resumed fare collection. CSULB students can purchase the discounted GoBeach! 150-day pass for $100 dollars (normally $200 for students/$325 for employees), or the GoBeach! 30-day pass for $40. Full pass details are available at our Bus webpage.

You can find your best route to/from campus by visiting moovitapp.com. You can also download this app directly for your Apple or Android device.

Monthly Parking Permits

To provide more flexibility, a monthly permit option will again be made available at $45/month. Monthly and Spring Semester permits are sold via the Online Parking Portal. Please remember that if you decide to park on campus, some form of paid parking will be required (short-term, daily, monthly, semester, or academic year).

Important Note: Daily permits are only valid in the lot purchased.

Daily Permit Option: Pay-by-App

Daily permit purchases are still available for purchase using the ParkMobile App.

Make your contactless purchase remotely using the app, which is available in all lots where daily permits are available. Download the app and click on the map to view the correct zone number for your parking lot. More info at ParkMobile FAQ.

Important Note: Daily permits are only valid in the lot purchased.
