Parking On Campus - spring 2021

A reminder that if you do choose to park on campus some form of paid parking is required. Individuals should limit any non-essential travel to campus whenever possible. 

Parking on campus is enforced 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week including holidays.

Students

Permits are required for all students who choose to park on campus. Students may park in all General (G) Lots. Student can also now park in E11. Lot G5 has been temporarily converted to Employee Parking.

Students may purchase monthly, semester and academic year parking permits via the CSULB Parking Portal. Daily permits can also be purchased at the nearest campus pay station.

Employees

Permits are required for all employees who choose to park on campus. Employees may park in Employee (E) Lots and General (G) Lots.

Employees may purchase monthly, semester and academic year parking permits via the CSULB Parking Portal. Daily permits can also be purchased at the nearest campus pay station.

Faculty

Permits are required for all faculty who choose to park on campus. Faculty may park in Employee (E) Lots and General (G) Lots.

Faculty members may purchase monthly, semester and academic year parking permits via the CSULB Parking Portal. Daily permits can also be purchased at the nearest campus pay station.

Residents

On campus residents who choose to bring a car to campus must purchase a residential permit available via the CSULB Parking Portal.

Beachside Housing is currently closed. No Beachside permits are available at this time. For additional information regarding University Housing policies, please email housing@csulb.edu or call 562.985.4187.

Emeriti & Volunteers

We are currently not providing Emeriti or Volunteer permits at this time. More information will be announced directly to Emeriti members as soon as this policy is updated.

If working on campus, please contact parkinggeneral@csulb.edu to inquire about possible parking arrangements.

Vendors & Contractors

Permits are required for all vendors and contractors working on campus.

Please work with your hiring department on campus for specific parking permit instructions.

Closed Lots

In an effort to increase campus safety, certain buildings and parking lots have been closed. Parking in these closed lots is prohibited.
