Parking Refunds Spring Semester 2020

UPDATE: All Parking permit refunds for spring semester were completed during the month of April 2020. As previously communicated, refunds were sent automatically and posted to the student's account. The university’s policy is to apply a credit towards any outstanding balance, regardless of due date. You will still receive a refund credit as it applies towards your account balance, or if you are receiving Financial Aid, a larger Financial Aid disbursement.

Program summary:

  • No applications required.
  • Refunds were sent out automatically to all spring 2020 permit holders.
  • All processing fees were waived.
  • Refunds were posted to the student's CSULB account.
  • Refund amounts were prorated based on the remaining days of Spring Semester 2020 (March 23-June 7).
  • Refunds began processing on April 1, 2020.
  • Due to the high volume, refunds payments may take up to 4-6 weeks to process.

Student

All active student permits will be automatically refunded for March 23-June 7, 2020.

No refund request forms are required. All active student permit holders will receive refunds automatically posted into their student accounts. Please allow up to 4-6 weeks to process due to the high volume of refunds to be processed.

Resident

Both On-campus Resident (R) and Beachside (B) permits will be automatically refunded for March 23-June 7, 2020.*

*Permit fees will not be refunded if the student has chosen to remain in university housing and park their vehicle on campus after April 1, 2020.

Motorcycle

Motorcycle permits will be automatically refunded for March 23-June 7, 2020.

​Community, OLLI, LifeFit, SRWC

Community, LifeFit, SRWC and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) permits are eligible for a prorated refund. More information regarding these permit types will be posted as soon as it is available.

Employee

In response to recent changes for employees, we will be suspending permit fees for both State and Auxiliary employees during the months of April and May 2020.

For employees on automatic payroll deduction, no deductions will occur during the April and May 2020 pay periods.

For employees who prepurchased a semester or academic year permit, refunds will be issued for the months of April and May 2020 in accordance with our refund policy. For employees who prepurchased an annual permit, refunds will be issued for the months of April, May and June 2020. No processing fee will be assessed. No action is required. Permit holders will be automatically refunded.* For any additional questions, please email cashiers@csulb.edu.

Sustainable Transportation passes:

Los Coyotes Shuttle passes

Los Coyotes Shuttle pass holders will receive an automatic refund to their student accounts for March 23-May 22, 2020.
