Message From Provost Jersky

News

  • This Friday is Juneteenth Day, a commemoration marking the end of slavery in the U.S. In Academic Affairs we're inviting everyone to take time to pause and reflect this Friday. Here are some articles from leaders in the field. Our hope is for all to learn more about racial disparities, reflect on current events and plan how we can create a more inclusive environment for all.

  • As we alternate the modality of our courses, stay up-to-date on any and all changes regarding our Academic Continuity plan. Our website is being constantly updated and contains all the pertinent resources for faculty with alternative forms of instruction.

  • As fall approaches, CSULB is here to support our faculty, staff and students. The Summer Professional Development Opportunities is designed for faculty specifically to transition to alternate modes of instruction. To learn more and register for the 2020 Summer Professional Development Opportunities, visit the Academic Continuity website for faculty. Registration coming soon.
