CIO'S MESSAGE (EMPLOYEES) - August 5, 2020

Changes to CSULB SSO Login Coming Soon

Dear Colleagues,

To improve our single sign-on (SSO) service during peak network traffic periods, our SSO service provider recommended that we use only our campus email address and password to log onto our SSO service.  Following this recommendation, we will soon implement a change to require the use of our email address and password as the only acceptable credentials for logging into our SSO service.

Currently, SSO login allows the use of either our campus email address or our nine-digit Campus ID as username.  During the fall semester we will alert you with the exact date when logging in to SSO with Campus ID will no longer be available. However, you may begin to use your email address now to help improve our SSO service.  In preparation for this change, we have already indicated the use of campus email address on the CSULB SSO login page as illustrated below.

If you used the “Remember me” check box feature on the SSO login page, please update it now to remember your full campus email address.

If you have questions, please contact the Technology Help Desk at helpdesk@csulb.edu or by phone at 562-985-4959.

Stay safe and well.
