Low-Cost GRE Prep: Registration Closed

The GSRC offers low-cost GRE preparation for all current and future graduate students (including non-CSULB students). These sessions cover all three sections of the general GRE exam and are taught by a GRE preparation instructor with over 20 years of experience. Our next workshop series will take place during the summer 2018 session.

This workshop is currently full. We will offer our next workshop during the early fall semester that will begin in mid-September and take place on Fridays from 1-4pm. We normally offer GRE Prep workshops during the Fall, Winter, and Summer semesters. 

Cost for undergraduate students, alumni, and others not affiliated with CSULB

The total cost for the workshop (five sessions) is $65.

Cost for current CSULB graduate students

For currently enrolled CSULB graduate student (master's, credential, certificate, doctorate), you may take the class as well as receive the required textbook for free. Current CSULB graduate students are asked to submit a refundable $65 deposit (cash only) at the time of registration. The $65 will be returned after attending three or more sessions.

Required Textbook

Prior to the first class meeting, undergraduate students, alumni, and others not affiliated with CSULB must purchase The Official Guide to the GRE General Test, 3rd Edition (ETS). The GRE prep book costs approximately $25 new. The textbook can be purchased as either hard copy or kindle/e-book version. All currently enrolled graduate students do not need to purchase the book; it will be provided for you the first day of class.
