Applying To Graduate School
Provided below is information regarding basic requirements often needed to apply to graduate school (i.e., masters, doctoral programs) as well as some certificate and credential programs. The requirements for application may vary by school/program, so it is important that you check the application requirements for your specific school/program of interest.
A complete graduate school application usually consists of the following application materials:
- CSULB Application & Fee
- Official transcripts from all institutions attended
- Entrance exam test scores (e.g., GRE, LSAT, GMAT, or MCAT)
- Statement of purpose
- Graduate school résumé or curriculum vitae (CV)
- Three letters of recommendation
Most programs will not review your application until all parts of the application are submitted. It is important to start preparing the application components early and submit your completed application before the deadline.
