Beach Central is our “One Stop” for all things in Admissions, Financial Aid and Student Records. With these integrated service pathways in place, it just could be getting easier to be a student at CSULB.
This is where you get answers from all three of our offices right in one place, eliminating the bounce and multiple waits between Admissions, Financial Aid and Student Records. Cross-training and co-location of staff resources, plus new technology for virtual queueing, represent a major step forward to improving the student experience here at CSULB. All this comes together in our One Stop Beach Central.
On campus or coming to campus later today, then start with virtual queueing for in-person service. No more standing in line! Join the queue online or by phone virtually from anywhere. A cross-trained Intake staff will meet you at the windows when it’s your turn. Need more time? Text us to change your place in line or jump out of line electronically if you need to leave campus.

If you just want to call with a quick question, the numbers remain the same; 562-985-5471 for Enrollment Services, and 562-985-8403 for Financial Aid only.
If your question requires counseling in Admissions, Financial Aid, or Student Records, get connected to counseling through the Beach Central flex appointment queue to meet with a counselor for an appointment.
Appointments will be hosted on Zoom while our staff work off-campus to practice social distancing.
Our goal is Service Excellence: creating strategic efficiencies that save students’ valuable time using improved delivery techniques. Enrollment Services staff are trained in Service Excellence skills. The desire to improve the student experience is baked into the changes we are making to our business.
There's more innovation to come in the months and years ahead, as we plan for technology to support transactional services online, plus online workflows to replace our paper forms. Beach Central represents the framework to support all of our customer improvements, including critical feedback through surveys about how the changes are working!
