Allan Taing

Allan Taing, Ph.D., is a full-time faculty member in the College of Education at California State University, Long Beach. Dr. Taing serves dual roles in the college. As a Lecturer in the Department of Educational Leadership, he teaches graduate-level courses in research design, quantitative methods, and institutional effectiveness. As Associate Director of the Center for Evaluation and Educational Effectiveness (CEEE), he provides leadership and direction in the overall operations of the program evaluation and research center. A child of Cambodian refugees and a first-generation college student, Dr. Taing earned his doctorate degree in educational psychology at the University of California, Riverside
