Elliott began his career as an entry level manager at GE Capital.
After a few years in the financial industry, he trained in The Meisner Technique and began performing in community theater in North Carolina and Off Broadway in New York. He then got an MFA in Dramatic performance from the University of Washington and performed in independent film and television. However, his most rewarding experience was the mounting of the critically acclaimed performance of Harold Pinter's BETRAYAL where he produced and performed. Elliott subsequently transitioned to producing film and became one of the producers of the award winning feature film, NIGHT CATCHES US, starring Anthony Mackie and Kerry Washington. It premiered in the dramatic competition at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for Best First Feature at the Independent Spirit Awards.
Elliott received a second MFA in Producing from the prestigious American Film Institute and his thesis film,Usagi San, won a Student Emmy and a BAFTA LA. Since then, he has completed several projects across different media. He produced an offbeat web series entitled #nitTWITS which garnered awards and sold to FUNNY or DIE. His most recent offering is titled SKIN IN THE GAME,a feature which focuses on the world of human trafficking and its prevalence in our society.
