Crime Scene Photography (Advanced)

This course is designed to provide the student with the skills and knowledge to perform advanced photography investigations in the field and in the laboratory. Topics taught will include the photographic documentation of impression evidence, firearm trajectory paths, the documentation of major investigations, blood spatter patterns and specialty photography to include injury photography. It will also cover fluorescence photography and problem photography at night. It will introduce an overview of the usage of UAVs and crime scene documentation. The course is taught in a hands-on format.

Prerequisites: Attendees must have completed the 80-hour POST-certified Basic Crime Scene Investigation course.
