President’s Award for Outstanding Faculty Achievement: Several College of Education Faculty Honored with Award

Four College of Education faculty members have been honored with the inaugural 2018 President’s Awards for Outstanding Faculty Achievement. The awards were given to Dr. Bita Ghafoori, Dr. Anna Ortiz, Dr. Kristin Powers, and Dr. Paul Ratanasiripong who were part of a total of 50 faculty recipients campus-wide to receive the awards. These prestigious awards recognize the sustained effort of senior professors from across the University and reward their exceptional work, which positively impacts students’ lives, and also reaches outside campus to benefit the local community and beyond.
