Dr. HuongTran Nguyen Publishes Chapter in Book "Research Studies on Educating for Diversity and Social Justice"

Dr. HuongTran Nguyen, the interim Department Chair in Teacher Education, has written a chapter entitled, “Preparing Prospective Teachers for Teacher Leadership in a Pluralistic Society” as part of the recently published book, Research Studies on Educating for Diversity and Social Justice. Dr. Nguyen’s chapter was the result of a paper, “Identity and Diversity in Teacher Preparation Re/visioning Their Work through Lenses of Awareness, Acknowledgement, Culture and Power” which she co-presented with Teacher Education faculty Dr. Betina Hsieh at the National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME).
