How does spending your winter break in Thailand and earning 3 credits towards your degree sound? Studying abroad is a great way to set yourself apart on the job market as less than 2% of U.S. students study, intern, or volunteer abroad. MGMT 300 offers students a chance to visit Thailand, Asia's hottest travel destination, learn about business and do a volunteer project with stateless children. In Bangkok, you will visit companies such as Nestle and Cafe Amazon, and tour their facilities while learning about their management and operations practices in Asia. You will also attend business classes at the prestigious Mahidol University and learn about business from local experts. Finally, you will learn all about Thai culture by visiting famous temples, shopping at a floating market, and even learning some kickboxing and Thai massage! Our trip includes a service learning project where you will help build a school for stateless Hill Tribe children in Northern Thailand. The program was recently featured on the CSULB CPIE website
Don't miss out on the life-changing opportunity. Space is limited and recruiting for winter and summer 2020 sessions is now underway. Visit the program website to see a sample itinerary and learn more about this amazing experience.
