The Finance Blended Masters (4+1) Program is now available to current undergrad CSULB students seeking a career in finance. With this new program, CSU Long Beach students now have the fastest possible path to obtaining a CFA, while earning both BSBF and MSF degrees in five years or less (three years for incoming transfer students).
Please note the MSF Blended Program is only open to students who will complete their undergraduate degree requirements in either the Spring or Summer semesters. Students completing their undergraduate degree requirements in the Fall semester are not eligible to apply but are encouraged to submit a traditional MSF application.
How to Apply
Students may apply to the blended BSBA/MSF program as finance major undergraduates with a GPA of at least 3.0 or better in their last 60 units. If admitted, at the end of the first academic semester in which they earn at least 120 semester hours, and meet all required lower division general education courses, they automatically move to graduate status to complete the MSF degree. The program offers a unique opportunity for high-performing undergraduate students to achieve important educational goals and start their careers in finance earlier. Contact Giselle Oberly for more information on how to apply, Giselle.Oberly@csulb.edu.
Students in the blended program will be guaranteed courses to allow them to complete the requirements for their undergraduate degree in 4 years. Students admitted to this program will not be required to submit a Cal State Apply application or sit for a GMAT or GRE exam. The blended program offers access to all of the support services offered to our graduate students.
