Horn Center UAM Renovation

The scope of work will include a renovation of the undergraduate advising center, learning assistance center, computer lab and the university art museum.  The Computer Lab, undergraduate advising and learning assistance centers will be converted to 10 classrooms, 2 lecture halls, and additional all gender restroom expansion to meet the increase occupant load.  The south courtyard will receive new hardscape/landscape along with additional seating. The north courtyard will be converted to a serene sculpture garden. The university’s central art museum will also be renamed to the Carolyn Campagna Kleefeld Contemporary Art Museum at California State University Long Beach due to a generous donation. The museum will receive a new interior floor plan along with a 4,000 square foot expansion.  The new floor plan and expansion will include additional galleries space and storage rooms for archiving collections.
