Associate Director, Long Beach City College Foundation
Nancy Yoho received her BA in Geography in 1981. She has been a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2006, and served two years as president and six years as Alumni Council representative. She has been employed by the Long Beach City College Foundation for 10 years and currently works as Associate Director. Previously, she spent 26 year with Thomas Bros. Maps and Rand McNally as Vice President of Geographic Information Systems.
Nancy received the Distinguished Alumna Award for the College of Liberal Arts in 2005. She and her husband, Steve, also an alum, enjoy attending LBSU men’s basketball and volleyball games, women’s volleyball games, Concerts at the Beach and events at the Carpenter Center.
Nancy and Steve are donors for two endowed scholarships, one in the Department of Geography and one in the College of Business. They also support the future Alumni Center.
Nancy is a member of P.E.O., an organization that provides educational scholarships to women. She is an active volunteer in her church as a member of the finance committee, scrip program and audio/visual support for the contemporary service. In addition, she is the editor of the newsletter for Woodhaven Country Club in Palm Desert. Nancy enjoys traveling and reading.
Nancy and Steve’s children, Dan and Alison, are both CSULB graduates.
