CSULB faculty are invited to join this 2-day intensive in-person course to connect with colleagues and explore principles of online course design based on the Quality Matters (QM) Rubric.
This course is based on the Applying the Quality Matters Rubric program offered through the CSU Chancellor's Office of Online Course Services. Now offered by our own QM-certified facilitators at CSULB, participants will engage in hands-on activities and make specific adjustments to assessments and course materials to improve student learning outcomes.

- Apply a core set of established standards for online course design.
- Align course content to student learning outcomes.
- Formulate critical assessment strategies to ensure course material is relevant and captivating.
- Attend the workshop in its entirety (attendance on both days is required)
- Complete all in-workshop activities and material including:
- QM Participant Confidentiality and Limited License Agreement
- Evaluation survey
