In the Classlist, it is possible to grant a student extra time for all quizzes and exams in the course at once (instead of having to adjust the timing one by one).
Select the caret next to any student’s name and select Edit Accommodations:

You can then either grant the student additional time based on a multiplier of each quiz’s configured time limit or to give a flat number of additional minutes to each quiz’s configure limit. For example, if you have three quizzes configured for 20, 30 and 45 minutes, setting a 2 times multiplier will ensure the student receives 40, 60 and 90 minutes, respectively. Alternatively, if you elect to grant an additional 15 minutes to all quizzes, the student will receive 35, 45 and 60 minutes to complete their quizzes.
You also have the option to allow students to always right-click in all quizzes regardless of any quizzes configured to prevent right-clicking during attempts.

The Email tool allows you to send email from within BeachBoard. Emails sent through BeachBoard will be sent to a user's preferred external email address, as specified in MyCSULB. All emails sent from BeachBoard will be sent by beachboard-notify@csulb.edu.
Important Notes:
- BeachBoard does NOT have a “sent mail” folder, so we recommend you also send yourself a copy!
- If you attempt to send an email message to a large number of recipients from within BeachBoard, the message may not be sent to all of the recipients. There is a limit of 4100 characters for the string of email addresses (strung together with a semicolon separator) in each of the “To:”, “Cc:”, and “Bcc:” fields in the email composer interface. This typically imposes a limit of 100 to 200 recipients per message sent, depending upon the lengths of the email addresses.
- Workaround: Send the email message to only one page of students at a time by checking “Select all rows” and then selecting the “E-mail selected users” icon.
- The Email tool allows you to send email from within BeachBoard. Emails sent through BeachBoard will be sent to a user's preferred external email address, as set in MyCSULB. To avoid any issues receiving and sending emails via BeachBoard, set your preferred email in MyCSULB as your CSULB issued email address. All emails sent from BeachBoard will be sent by beachboard-notify@csulb.edu.
