How to Activate a Course
When you activate a BeachBoard course, it becomes visible to students who are enrolled in it.
You can set a course to Active through the Course Offering Information page.
Students will be able to enter the course within the designated Start Date and End Date parameters, which can also be found in the Course Offering Information page. Note: the course will not be visible to students any time outside of the Start/End Date window.
Be sure to click Save to apply your changes.
You can access the Course Offering Information page by clicking Edit Course on the course navigation bar.
This will open the Course Administration page. Under Site Setup, click Course Offering Information.
On the Course Offering Information page scroll to the section, Active, and place a check mark in the Course is active check box. This will make the course available for students to see the course is available for them to access in BeachBoard.
If the course is pinned under your My Courses widget, you can hover the course image and click the ellipsis icon on the top right of the image. Select Course Offering Information.
