Patrick Goggin

A double alumnus of California State University, Long Beach, Mr. Goggin graduated with his bachelor’s degree in 1987 in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in 1991 in engineering. Patrick retired from The Boeing Company in 2018 after more than 33 years with the company. During his tenure at Boeing he held many Program Management and Leadership roles. These roles included Vice President and General Manager of Defense, Space & Security Development Programs; Vice President of Engineering for all 7-Series Commercial Airplane Programs; Vice President of Boeing’s Development Process Excellence Initiative; Vice President and Chief Engineer for the Southern California Region of Boeing Defense, Space and Security; and Chief  Engineer for Boeing Command, Control and Communications Networks at the Huntington Beach-Anaheim sites.

He is an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and served as a past board member for the Los Angeles Harbor Boys & Girls Club. He was also a member of Leadership Long Beach and has served since 2010 on the CSULB College of Engineering Advisory Board. In 2005, Patrick was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from the College of Engineering. While at CSULB, he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
