Annette Kashiwabara

An alumna of California State University, Long Beach, Annette Kashiwabara earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1982.  She is active in the Long Beach community through her affiliation with many nonprofit organizations. She is currently the Executive Director with the Assistance League of Long Beach. Previously, Annette was the Executive Vice President for The California Conference for Equality and Justice. She joined the Long Beach Community Foundation Board in 2015 and is also a board member of Community Hospital of Long Beach, Planned Giving Roundtable of Orange County, and a community volunteer with the Long Beach Police Department. Additionally, she has been active in Leadership Long Beach, the City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services, and served on the CSULB Nursing Advisory Board.
