Figure 2.  ICP-MS chromatogram of 10 µg metallothionein standard showing 63Cu, 64Zn, and 114Cd.  The small peaks before 10 minutes and after 25 minutes represent known quantities of analyte injected into the eluent stream by FIA.  The integrated areas were used to quantify the metal content of the protein.
