Textbooks: Introduction to Real Analysis, 4th Edition, R. G. Bartle, D. R. Sherbert, Wiley, 2011.

Prerequisite: Math 222 or Math 224, and Math 233 or Math 247.

Goal:
To provide a rigorous study of calculus and its foundations. Topics include: Structure of the real number system; Sequences and series of numbers; Limits, continuity, and differentiability of functions of one real variable. In particular, students will be asked to write valid mathematical proofs.
