ARTIST'S STATEMENT

The blessings of a full life and the pace of modern living have sometimes created for me a sense of fragmentation, a scattering of energy. At times it is necessary for me to quietly focus on my values, to find balance in my life, to find that energy within that central core of myself, and to realize that I am a very small part of a very large pattern.

These etchings are from a group of studies I refer to as "Mandalas". They represent a central point of energy from which infinite patterns unfold. They are a visual manifestation of meditation.
