STATEMENT

I have recently been attracted to women's rituals, specifically at beauty parlors where I am fascinated by reflections and fractured images. Simultaneously, I hae also been exploring the spiritual through my personal experiences in the Back Bay and with the ocean. Other pieces are simply playful or have to do with memories of the past. Underlying most of my work however, there is a very definite "dark side" referring to precarious situations, past connections and make-believe.
