- Hi!! Welcome to my home in cyberspace. I am alone responsible
for all the material in these pages. I am a sociologist and teach
full-time at California State University, Long Beach.

I do consulting, training, speaking engagements
on Cultural diversity and Anti-Racism around the nation. My
professional interests are in the field of racial and ethnic relations,
especially as it relates to Latinos and Latino politics in the
U.S. I am involved in the development of anti-racism initiatives
in higher education.
- I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Since 1977, I became
involved in Racial Justice issues as a student in Louisiana State
University, Baton Rouge. I served as Assoc. Director for Racial Justice
for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America's national office in
Chicago. I am a core-trainer of Crossroads, a
Racial Justice Ministry in Chicago.
