Notes
- shéi de - whose. The pattern NounáǘdeǘNounǎ indicates to possessive relationship between Nouná and Nounǎ . Examples:
Gǔbō de dìtú - Gubo's map
tā de shū - his (her) book
However, Zhōngguó dìtú is different. The map does not belong to China, therefore, there is no de between Zhōngguó and dìtú. In the previous lessons, 'my father, my mother and my friend' do not have de either.
