More about “了”and “要”
You have already learned that “了” can
be used to indicated the completion of an action. “要” can be used to
indicate the future action. Compare the following sentences:
昨天我看了那个电影。 I saw the movie
yesterday.
明天我要看那个电影。 I will see the
movie yesterday.
Can you
transform the following sentences of completed actions to sentences with future
actions?
昨天我作了很好吃的菜。
上個星期天我去了
昨天晚上我作了練習。
去年我去了日本。
Now change the above sentences to the sentences with future actions.
