Announcement of Visiting Assistant Professorship
August 25, 2003 - May 23, 2004
The Department of East Asian Languages and Literature anticipates a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position in Chinese language for the 2003-04 academic year. Applicants for the position must have a Ph.D., or expect to have the Ph.D. by the beginning of this appointment, August 25, 2003, in Chinese linguistics, language pedagogy or a related field, native or near-native fluency in Chinese and experience in language teaching. Duties of the position involve teaching four courses, including First- and Third-year Chinese, and supervision of Teaching Assistants.

Salary is competitive.
