Duke Study in China Program
The 2003 Duke Study in China Program summer session has been relocated as a result of concerns re: SARS.  The first two weeks of the program will be held on the Duke campus in Durham, North Carolina, followed by six weeks at Duke's Marine Laboratory at the beach in Beaufort, North Carolina. The program dates are now June 23 to August 15.

Faculty will include  Professor Xiaomiao Zhu (Wesleyan University), and Professor Judy Mu (Washington University), assisted by Professor Xiuqin Lin (Capital  Normal University, Beijing) and Professor Jie Cai (Duke University). Tuition for the program is $3,744.  Students will be responsible for  their own room & board (arranged by program), books, and fees (estimated at $2,500) and other expenses of a personal nature, including travel to and  from the Duke campus.

A new Statement of Acceptance form will be sent to those students planning to attend this session who were accepted for the original program. Applications will also be accepted from new students (see the Duke Study in China Program web site http://www.duke.edu/apsi for application forms) until May 20.

Duke reserves the right to cancel this program.  Should it do so, refunds will be made in accordance with the policy outlined on the Authorization and Consent form.
