The Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington is seeking a part-time instructor in Chinese beginning Fall term 2003. Teaching load is three courses per year. Participation in co-curricular activities expected. MA (or equivalent) in Chinese or related fields, with a strong background in the teaching of
language. Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese, and an interest in multimedia teaching technologies desirable.
