- 1. Name of Journal
- 2. Volume, year, Page number
- 3. Author and Title of the article

- Second you need to see if we own the journal here at CSULB:
- 1. Go to COAST
- 2. Search for the Title of the Journal (NOT the
ARTICLE TITLE!)
- 3. Note the Call number and make sure CSULB has the Volume you need.
- 4. Note which floor your volume is located

- Third you need to get the journal off the shelf and make copies of the article
- 1. Our journals don't circulate so make sure to bring your student ID
to pay for copying!
- 2. Copies are 10 cents per page
What to do if it is not in the library
- If CSULB does not own the journal title or volume that you need, you can order it from
Interlibrary Loan for FREE!! You must get a Library PIN first before
filling out the electronic form.

- This is an alphabetical listing of electronic journals the library currently subscribes
to. Each entry lists years the journal is available and the location of that journal
within our electronic collection.
- 1. Have your FULL citation from a research database or
print index/reference in front of you.
- 2. Check to see if your journal is available by looking at this list of
journal titles CSULB subscribes.
- 3. Make sure we have the volume and year that you need
and click on the link to your journal title. Please Note: you may have to perform an
additional search once you are connected to the full text journal. The best way to
do this is to perform a search by ARTICLE TITLE.
