| Getting
books from other Libraries |
Sometimes CSU Long Beach does not have the book you want or
all the books on your topic are checked out. Have no fear- there are still ways you
can get books from other libraries without actually driving there. And even more
importantly, getting books from other libraries is FREE to CSULB students, faculty
and staff. Here are your options for getting books from other
libraries:
- Link+
- This is the best and quickest way to get your hands on books
not owned by CSULB. If you see that COAST does not have the title you want or everything
is checked out, you can click on the search link+ and instantly see what more than 12
other libraries own. If you see a book you like- all you have to do is click on
request this item and enter your name and student ID number. Items will arrive in
3-5 days!!
-
- Interlibrary
Loan
- This is for titles that are not available in LINK+ or at
CSULB. You must have a library PIN to order books
this way and it takes a little longer (10-14 days). So start your research
early!
